Terms of Use

The rules for using Know, creator knowledge, AI answers, subscriptions, purchases, and connected services.

Effective August 31, 2026

Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accessing Know, or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must meet the minimum age required to use online services where you live and be able to enter a binding agreement.
  • Provide accurate information, protect account access, and notify support if you believe the account has been compromised.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

What Know provides

Know lets people discover creators, ask questions, receive AI-assisted answers, inspect referenced knowledge, save content, and purchase creator access. Creators can build a profile, connect knowledge, review performance, and configure access offers.

Features may change, improve, or be discontinued. Beta and preview features may be incomplete or less reliable.

AI-generated answers

AI output is generated from prompts, connected knowledge, and automated systems. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or not match the creator's current view.

Know is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Verify important decisions with qualified professionals and original sources.

Your content and creator knowledge

You keep ownership of content you upload or connect. You give Know a limited, worldwide license to host, process, index, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you choose.

You confirm that you have permission to use the content and connect each source. Removing content ends this license except where temporary retention is needed for backups, security, legal compliance, or completed transactions.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • Prices, included access, daily question limits, billing interval, taxes, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.
  • Recurring subscriptions renew until canceled through the place of purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal but normally keeps access through the paid period.
  • A one-time knowledge pass provides the access described at checkout and is not a transfer of ownership in creator content.
  • Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are handled under the payment provider’s rules and any mandatory consumer law.
  • Creator earnings, fees, payout timing, and eligibility may require separate monetization terms before real payouts are enabled.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Know or help anyone else do so.

  • Do not upload illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or privacy-invasive content.
  • Do not impersonate others, manipulate engagement, evade access limits, or use unauthorized payment methods.
  • Do not scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the app’s security and access controls.
  • Do not use AI output or creator content to harm people, make prohibited automated decisions, or violate another person’s rights.

Know’s content and intellectual property

The app, brand, interface, software, and Know-provided materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

Third-party services

Connected social platforms, app stores, payment providers, websites, and other integrations have their own terms and privacy practices. Know is not responsible for third-party services or content outside its control.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, Know will provide notice and a way to appeal. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Know does not promise uninterrupted operation, specific results, or that every answer or source will be accurate.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any other limitations must be interpreted according to applicable consumer law.

Changes and questions

Terms may be updated when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect when required. Questions can be submitted through Help & Support in Settings.

These terms apply to the Know app and website. Questions or requests: use Help & Support inside the app, or the support page.
